Sunday Guided Tours & Community Market: First Sunday of the Month (Feb - Dec), 1 - 4pm
Sunday Afternoon Tours and Community Market Dates: 3 September, 1 October, 5 November and 3 December.
Costumed guides share the intriguing history of the house built as a holiday residence by Victoria's first Auditor-General, Charles Ebden. Donations accepted. Starting an hour earlier at 12 noon, our fabulous new community market offers scrumptious food, coffee and hand made items. (Please note that Guide Tours continue for the whole of Winter, but the markets have a break in chilly June and July).

Come and enjoy all of the fantastic goodies on offer at the market - coffee and cake, food vans, jewellery, succulents, handbags, footwear, essential oils, craft, candles, bath products, scarfs, dream catchers, face painting, cards, puzzles and more. Christmas Carols at Black Rock House: Wednesday, 6 December at 7pm
This is an annual, family community event featuring Haley Davis and band and carols by local school choirs Admission: Free. BYO Chair/Rug and refreshments. Food stalls on site too. (Alternative wet weather venue: Black Rock Civic Hall, Cnr Balcombe Rd & College Gr, Black Rock).
Black Rock House Ghost Tours
These tours run each Winter. A tour is a fascinating way to discover stories about people who lived and worked at Black Rock House, built in 1856 as a holiday residence for Victoria's first Auditor-General, Charles Hotson Ebden. See the historic house and its cellar to hear tales of some of the more unusual occurrences in this 'Jewel by the Sea'.
Champagne/Orange juice provided upon arrival with tea, coffee and biscuits at the conclusion of the tour. Please wear warm clothing and sensible shoes. Meet at the front door of Black Rock House.

Black Rock House Paranormal Tours
As well as our Winter ghost tours that tell the haunted house history of Black Rock House, monthly Paranormal Tours are held for those who seek a paranormal experience with past residents and staff of the House for themselves. Using the latest instrumentation, the team from Paranormal X Files will host your Black Rock House experience in the dark. Tickets for these events are snapped up quickly and are on sale through TryBooking, click here or use the link to join the waitlist. The full income from ticket sales goes towards the restoration and upkeep of Black Rock House.
