Ghost Tours

Our Ghost Tours are held each Winter in June, July and August and are a fascinating way to discover stories about people who lived and worked at Black Rock House some 150 years ago.

Ghost Tours of Black Rock HouseBuilt in 1856, Black Rock House was designed as a holiday residence for Victoria's first Auditor-General, Charles Hotson Ebden. Tour the House and cellar to hear tales of some of the more unusual occurrences in this 'Jewel by the Sea'.

Champagne/Orange juice provided upon arrival with tea, coffee and biscuits at the conclusion of the tour.  Please wear warm clothing and sensible shoes.  Meet at the front door of Black Rock House.

Black Rock House is open for history tours by costumed guides on the first Sunday of every month (1-4pm), all year round.
