Mid-week Tours

Pre-arranged mid-week tours for groups are available upon request and attract a nominal fee. Your enquiries are welcome.

Groups are welcome to visit Black Rock House on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays by advance booking.  We welcome school groups, seniors groups, social groups, families and other community groups.

Enjoy guided tours of Black Rock House by our trained volunteer costumed guides. They will share with you the intriguing history of the house built by Charles Ebden, Victoria's first Auditor-General.

Advance bookings must be made at least two weeks prior to your tour.  We accept a minimum of 10 guests and a maximum of 30 in one sitting. 

After the tour, groups may relax and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with biscuits in the ballroom. Devonshire tea: $15pp or tea/coffee and biscuits $7.50pp.

Black Rock House also opens on the first Sunday of the month (1-4pm) for guided tours. 

No bookings are required for Sunday open days.
